The City’s Health Services undertakes a range of duties that involve food safety such as routine health inspections of all registered food premises within the City to assess compliance with relevant legislation. The City also undertakes routine food sampling of food products from local businesses as well as responding to reports of food poisoning. Educational material is also offered by the City’s Health Services that includes Free Online Food Safety Training.
