Get creating and thinking with different STEAM activities each week

Activities include robotics, coding, LEGO® play, different creative art and craft activities, plus sessions with special presenters.

For ages 7 - 12 years. 

Bookings are not required for this program; however, space is limited and places are allocated via a token system. Please collect a token on arrival (first come, first served). 

Please note that children between 6 and 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult, or older sibling (13 years and over).

Program days and times

Each Monday during term time, 4pm - 5pm. Sessions commence in week 2 of each term.

Monday 13 May - Split Pin Puppets

• Make your own funky friend with paper, split pins and some creativity. Design your puppet then bring it to life with moving arms and legs!

Monday 20 May - Marble Mazes

• It's a MAZE in here! How many ways can you make a marble maze? Will you use straws, will you choose newspaper? The possibilities are endless!

Monday 27 May - Special Event: Wheels and Gears with REmida

• Zoom, zoom, zoom! Come along to Creators and Thinkers to get creative with recyled materials. The team from REmida will show you how to use these awesome materials to create things that zoom! For more information about this session, click here.

What are STEAM Activities?

STEAM: Science Technology Engineering Arts Maths

STEAM activities explore the various fields of science with a creative twist. Most Creators and Thinkers sessions will combine two or more of these subjects to create an engaging activity using creative and critical thinking to solve problems. While some sessions may be more arts based, others will have more of a science focus.
