It's never too late to learn!

In honour of Adult Learners' Week, join us at the Libraries for a free series of workshops and learn a new skill!

The blue-banded bee (Amegilla cingulata) is an unusually coloured species of bee native to Australia. The bees are known for the distinctive pale opalescent blue stripes on the abdomen, and their unique "buzz pollination" technique.

Come learn how to paint these bees with artist, educator, and presenter Miriam Atkinson. In this free beginner-level workshop, Miriam will guide you step-by-step through the various techniques of painting with watercolours. Attendees will discover just how much fun watercolours are, as they paint their own garden full of blue-banded bees.

Adults only.

Bookings are essential and open to the public on the 1st of August, 2024. Click here to book your spot!
