It's never too late to learn!

In honour of Adult Learners' Week, join us at the Libraries for a free series of workshops and learn a new skill!

The 3 big R's of waste management are Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. We all do pretty well at recycling, but very few of us are reducing or reusing first. So before you throw away your empty plastic milk bottles, consider giving them another life - in your garden!

Come explore the wonderful world of upcycling and seed-starting with Meg from Nutmegz Education. During this free workshop, Meg will walk you through the basics of seed-starting, the benefits of greenhouses in your garden, and how to make your own mulch.

Armed with this knowledge, attendees will turn their humble milk cartons into useful garden tools - miniature greenhouses! Participants will also get to sow some seeds in their milk bottle greenhouses and watch them grow.

Adults only.

Bookings are essential and open to the public on the 1st of August, 2024. Click here to book your spot!
