Celebrate Children's Book Week® at Gosnells Library!

Join award-winning author-illustrator, Briony Stewart, for a playful Story Time in celebration of Children's Book Week®. Briony will share her stories including her new book ‘Gymnastica Fantastica’ which has been shortlisted for the 2024 CBCA Book of the Year Awards. 

Story Time is best suited to children aged 3-5 years, but all are welcome to join in.

Bookings are not required for this program; however, space is limited, and places are allocated via a token system. Please collect a token on arrival (first come, first served).

Parents, please note that children under 6 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Children aged between 6 and 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult, or older sibling (13 years and over).

About Briony Stewart

Briony Stewart is the author and illustrator of several award-winning books for children, including the ‘Kumiko and the Dragon’ series and ‘We Love You Magoo’ which was a CBCA Early Childhood Honour Book for 2020. Briony lectures on children’s literature at university and conducts talks and workshops with children across Australia. She loves live drawing challenges, daydreaming and discussing dragons, bunnies and how to tame lions.
