Creative Older Kids (5-8 years)

Join us for a fun-filled program designed for kids aged 5-8! Each week, dive into exciting, themed activities and crafty adventures. This program helps children build confidence and develop social skills like teamwork and cooperation. They'll learn to master various craft tools such as scissors and paintbrushes, all while unleashing their creativity. It’s a fantastic way for your child to explore new skills and make lasting memories with new friends!

Activity specifics and requirements

• Children aged 5 - 8 years are eligible to enrol into this class. 
• Parents are to remain at the program and supervise their children. 
• We understand parents may be required to care for more than one child. As such, no fees apply to children in prams who require care by the supervising parent attending the program.

Creative Kids Days and Times

Creative Kids does not operate during the school holidays. 

Specialised activities are often organised during the school holidays. These activities are often listed in the Creative Kids program page and advertised on our City of Gosnells Children and Families Facebook page.

Creative Kids: School Terms

The 'Creative Kids' and 'Creative Older Kids' programs run for 8-9 weeks during the school term, with all classes being held at Huntingdale Community Centre, Huntingdale. 

All Youth and Families program dates follow the Western Australian Department of Education's school term schedule and do not operate on Western Australian public holidays, as listed on the Government of Western Australia's website.

Enrolling your child into a Creative Kids class

Below are the steps involved in registering your child into a class. Please ensure care is taken in ensuring the class you are registering your child into suits you and your child. 

1. Review our Cancellation Policy before proceeding to registering your child. 
2. Register for an online Bookable account and register into your preferred class (by clicking on the respective button below).

Don't feel this class is suited for your child? You may want to consider enrolling into the Creative Kids (2-4 years) class. 

Additional Information

Health and Safety Measures at our Programs 

• Hand sanitiser will be available at each session.
• Please do not attend the program if you or your child are unwell.
• To ensure the health and wellbeing of families and staff, limits may apply to the number of participants allowed in a building.

Short-Notice Changes to Programs/Events (including Cancellations)

Facilitators schedule these much-loved programs in advance. In the event of unexpected circumstances, such as inclement weather or illness, scheduled programs may be subject to alteration or postponement at short notice.
