Promote your vacancies to potential Volunteers by registering with Volunteering WA. 

This is a service for not for profit groups to register volunteer positions.

Volunteering WA also provide a range of resources to assist in the management of Volunteers.

 Things to consider when you are looking for a volunteer role:

  • Does the purpose of the organisation match your own values and beliefs?
  • Does the organisation have volunteer insurance? 
  • Is the role specific and clear?
  • Does the organisation  provide you with information about its purpose and activities?

Unlike paid staff, volunteers are not covered by awards or work place agreements.  However, volunteers do have basic rights and responsibilities.
